Hitting, as a team.Nobody had as much as two hits and 3 came in the 3rd and 2 came in the 9th that were the only ones we needed to triumph. Burton and Estalella of course had the homers off Reggie Harris (1-2), but Shumaker had a Double!!! Wendell had a single to drive him in, and Lou Frazier drove in Wendell with a double.BATTING AVG. CLIMBS!!Shumaker .000 ----> .111Pretty weak huh? At least we won!! ERA DROP ALERTS!!!!Shumaker did a good job! He pitched a flawless inning of relief, and hopefully he will show the same stuff as a starter sometime soon in the rotation. We need his major league experience at this juncture in the season. I heard there was a "Baseball for Dummies" convention at the Genetti Manor in Dickson City, so that is probably where Marc Bombard was. Either that, or he was at the Radiohead concert listening to his favorite tunes. A note to Red Barons catcher Bobby Estallela: Please become more consistent! Your 9th inning home run was excellent. Please put the bat on the ball more often than just once per game! Tonight's Trojan Boner of the Game Award goes to Billy McMillon.... what? He didnt even play! Hahahah well maybe not. This is just a plug to say that he coached first base for the majority of the game, being relieved by Ryan Nye in the 8th. I guess Carver gets the Boner Award again for..... ah christ, Im sure I'll think of something. BRING BACK CLEMENTE ALVAREZ!!!! Why the hell not? Darren Burton is on a tear!!!!!
