Lou Frazier!! We're unstoppable!!

Joel Bennett (9-1) won his 7th straight decision, throwing eight inning of two-run, seven-hit ball. He struck out five and walked one before Billy Brewer finished the 9th by striking out 2 of the 3 hitters he faced. Our offense was incredible in the late innings!! Spurred on by our taunts, the Barons ripped many an Ex-Red Baron pitcher for 9 runs in the final 2 innings!

ARKANSAS BLAST!

STEVE CARVER hit a solo homer in the 8th inning after the game was out of reach, Steve should be noted for the hustle he showed tagging up to reach 3rd and eventually score the tying run! Lou Frazier went 3-5 with 2 Triples and 2 RBI, he also swiped a base, as did Finn, McMillon, and Lucca!! Speaking of Lucca, he busted out the stick and went 3-5 with and RBI.

ERA DROP ALERTS!!!!

Bennett 3.24 -----> 3.14
Brewer 4.10 -----> 4.03
GOOD JOB BOYS, EVEN IF IT'S ROCHESTER!

HECKLING WAS KEY!

We layed into Maduro, Plantenberg and Snyder to the tune of 9 runs in 2 innings!!!
Hmm, I was just thinking about something...Lou Lucca plus Ryan Minor = 115. Think about it~!

THE COLUMN THAT MAKES YOU BRING ON THE SKYCHEFS!!

Here's that Ex-Red Baron Dave Lefchak (Maduro) with his "Two Chokes!"
MY TWO CENTS
by Dave Lefchak
July 22, 1999

The Fan Club made their presence felt tonight! The majority of the Red Baron
runs were scored in the 7th and 8th innings when the club moved behind the
backstop to cheer for the team. We walloped Maduro and Plantenberg in the
former Red Baron cavalcade. Matt Snyder was also no Curt Schilling tonight,
as he gave up 4 in the 8th to make the final score 10-2. Here are my
insightful ramblings:

Arkansas Blast from..... Steve Carver??? It's about time, its July 22nd! It
was a solo shot and it didn't figure in to the rest of the game so much, but
its still a great accomplishment for Steve! Lou Lucca busted out 3 hits of
his own tonight!!!!! Lou Frazier had 2 triples!!! Lou Frazier is fast! But
then again, the outfield was dropping fly balls and we weren't even heckling
them! Way to go offense!

Let's not forget quality pitching! Joel Bennett had a rough start giving up
2 runs in the first inning, but he settled in after that to get the weak
lineup out! And Brewer (the wrong lefty!) came in to close the deal after we
Bombarded them for 9 runs in the 7th and 8th. And no more Shumaker! Why did
the Phils call up Shumaker? WHO CARES?!?!?

Tonight's Trojan Boner of the Game award goes to Red Barons manager Marc
Bombard for not playing Clemente Alvarez and for not pitching Fesh! When
will you learn, Bombard? THE FAN CLUB NEEDS COOPERATION! No more Radiohead!

On that note..... START CLEMENTE ALVAREZ!!! We wanna see him at least once!

We are really gonna miss Rochester. Now that Syracuse is coming to town, we
have to bear down. We can't let ourselves be too close to Pawtucket going
into the Carolina trip next week! Let's take care of Mummau, Lopez,
Dalesandro, and company! Mitch remembers Luco... Lukas... Lukasweicz!!!!
Damn, I gotta get out of this business!

That's my two cents, gang. And always remember, enjoy the FESHtival.
