SAVING GRACE!!!

Is Darryl Scott, but anywho...:) Great game for the Barons as they scored early of Jason McCommon (6-8) to regain first place with a 4-0 win after a Charlotte victory over Pawtucket. Mike Grace (1-0) pitched 5 2/3 innings of 3-hit ball before giving way to Darryl Scott (S,2) who sealed the deal with 3 1/3 excellent innings.

ARKANSAS BLAST!

Billy McMillon drove in our first run on a solo homer in the 1st inning. He also had a sac fly to score Carver in the 3rd, which was followed by Torey Lovullo's RBI single to plate Wendell Magee Jr. Lou Lucca kinda got off the pommel horse by bouncing a ball over #64 Ryan Minor's head for a RBI single in the 8th off Jim Corsi who is fat and washed up.

ERA DROP ALERTS!!!!

Due to the rules of baseball, when a shutout is pitched, all pitchers get ERA drops. So we'll now take roll, Grace!! Scott!! Come and eat Pickering!
Grace 2.25 -----> 1.15
Scott 5.16 -----> 4.91
GOOD JOB BOYS, EVEN IF IT'S ROCHESTER!

God Bless Mitch, again!

Without him, it would have only been 3-0. Jim Corsi=lardass!
Hmm, I was just thinking about something...Lou Lucca plus Ryan Minor = 115. Think about it~!

CLEMENTE ALVAREZ HAS RETURNED!!!! I've been petitioning for this day for the
past 2 months, and with the callup of Estalella comes the return of
Clemente!!! The Fan Club and Rod Bolton were jumping for joy!!! Oh, by the
way, the Barons played a game tonight. They beat Rochester 4-0 behind a
Grace/Scott sandwich. Here are some of my insightful ramblings:

Arkansas Blast for Billy McMillon. Yippee. Jason McCommon gives up a lot of
dingers anyway. It would be nice if we could get some more jacks from Lucca
and Burton. They're due.

Randy Yanoshak interviewed the Fan Club tonight! He couldn't keep up with
all the info we bombarded him with. He was even writing in shorthand! It
was kinda hard for him to keep an eye on the game, so we helped him out a
little bit with the scorebook. Fan Club will be in the Sunday Times..... get
the paper!

Tonight's Trojan Boner of the Game Award goes to the umpiring crew for
completely screwing up a couple key calls. Steve Carver was clearly safe at
first base when Cal "Fat Bastard" Pickering bobbled the ball. There were
also a couple bad strike calls from Jorge (George) Bauza. YOu guys better be
awake for tomorrow! Honorable mention goes to Marc Bombard for not putting
in Fesh.

The Guiliano/Finn battle wages on in the RF bleachers. Bob's Guiliano
standpoint has been bolstered by 2 victories and some impressive defense.
Maybe Finn can show him up in a later game this week? Don sure hopes so.

START CLEMENTE ALVAREZ!!!!!!! Sorry, Marc Ronan, we know you're the #1 guy,
but we just want to see Clemente once! Throw us a bone here, Bombard!

Steve Carver had 2 hits tonight! Starting to come together, Steve! Let's
keep the hits coming against Maduro tomorrow night!

Let's keep up this great starting pitching! Joel Bennett is on tomorrow!!
And Clemente is back!!!!! I DRIVE A BUICK REGAL!!!!!

That's my two cents, gang. And always remember, enjoy the FESHtival.
