FESH TAKES THE LOSS!

Coming off an amazing DH sweep, Red Barons strand numerous runners.

The Red Barons had their 4 game winning streak snapped at the hands of the amazing Bisons. Buffalo only has 2 remaining pitchers from their opening day roster! Jeff Manto, a former Red Baron, ripped a double down the left field line off Fesh, essentially putting the game out of reach considering we only managed 2 runs on 4 hits. Cliff Politte pitched solid. Allowing 2 runs over 6 innings of work. After learning of Sean's defeat, millions of children weeped remorsefully and wrote Letters to Santa.

A CHINESE BUFFET OF ROSTER MOVES! (7/3/00)

Hmmm...I'll try to explain it all in just a few CHAPTERS!
CHAPTER 1: The Jalal Leach Fiasco
This past week the Phillies obtained "Steady Eddie" Vosberg who happens to be older than Every Other Player in the league! He was traded for 2 minor leaguers to be named. One was Jalal Leach. The Rockies intended to send Leach to AA, and Leach was all like, "Go in the kitchen and make me a sandwich!" We still don't know who was given up, but Leach eventually got his release and will play for "Tabasco" in the Mexican League. Hey Jalal! Don't burn your tongue. This comes as an awful blow to the Jalal Leach fan club. We sympathize with you, but rule #1 is pick somebody who is gonna be around. Now you must join us! Mu hahahaha.
CHAPTER 2: Dodd goes back on the DL
In order to replace Leach in our outfield rotation, the Red Barons called up David Francia from Reading, who was apparently hitting .285. Hmm, it strikes me as odd that we have now lost 3 outfielders since opening day...(Royster - WHo cares?) (Burton - Maybe they wish they didn't trade him) (Leach - Solid player and class act) This reminds me of when they canned Jose Flores and never had a SS hit above .230 ever again, this year included (Rollins who just turned old enough to drink).
CHAPTER 3: BRING BACK CLEMENTE ALVAREZ!!
He's a great guy and he can't possibly hit worse than Fausto or Cesar!! Clemente was sent to AA Reading to allow Fausto to come off the DL. Hmm, are we thinking correctly? They hit about equally and Clemente is 10 times the defender. This also is a move for when Gary Bennett can get back into the order. We really need his bat against Pawtucket!! Well, that's it. Why don't we just trade for Tyler Green?!
Hmm, I was just thinking about something...Clemente Alvarez plus Robert Dodd minus Kenny Woods equals SEAN FESH!! Think about it~! And George Gilbert looked forlorn when Dodd was pitching last night!
