 The
Red Barons salvaged the series against the "Sweater-vested Warriors"
otherwise known as the Charlotte Knights. The Red Barons losses in this series
didn't lack excitement. While losing the 2nd game of the doubleheader was
demoralizing, at least we had a scape-goat. Some "tough guy" who
obviously thought he was important because he had money decided to pick a fight
with a real season ticket holder. The season ticket holder was in the right and
promptly told the loser to "f*** you, leave me alone." Needless to say
we never stopped taking jabs at "Mr. Important." He even tried to
bribe the bat-boy to give his son a foul ball. Enough about that pile of s***.
In game 1 of that double header, the Red Barons needed extra (frames as Westling
would say) to knock off the pesky preppies. Mike Caruso made a washed up play
and ended up falling on his ass on the game winning ground ball in the 8th. I'm
sorry that I don't remember who hit it or who scored, but this was Tuesday, who
cares what happened on tuesday already? CNNSI doesn't help. You can only get
boxscores for game 2's there...anh...anh
Time to prepare for the "BLAME CANADA" series vs. the Ottawa Lynx
July 21-23! If you don't come to the stadium to support your Barons, you're
probably a communist, or even worse.. a Canadian.

Take me down to Quebec City, where the grass is green and
the girls are pretty.
Oh, won't you please take me home?
