THE BARONS TAKE THEIR FOURTH STRAIGHT!!!

The return of Joel Bennett proved invaluable as he pitched seven strong innings, not allowing an earned run, while picking up his 5th Red Baron Victory 2-1.

TOREY'S HOME RUN BRIGADE!

Torey Lovullo became the first Red Baron of 1999 to hit 10 home runs as his blast off Calvin Maduro gave the Red Barons their one run lead which they never relinquished. GO SAL!

ERA DROP ALERTS!!!!

Joel Bennett's strong 7 seven inning performance coupled with a Schrenk inning and a Fesh/Grahe 9th, which ran Fesh's scoreless inning streak to ten and two thirds innings, spelled victory on a night where run support was sparse. Good job Pitchers! Way to make Dave eat it!!!
Bennett 3.09 ----> 2.57
Schrenk 3.24 ----> 3.15
Fesh 3.86-----> 3.77
Grahe 5.84 ----> 5.69
GOOD JOB PEN!!!

Welcome back Joel Bennett!! He pitches 7 strong innings to earn the 2-1
victory but much more importantly, FESH PITCHED!!!! 10 1/3 SCORELESS
INNINGS!! Here are some more of my insightful ramblings:

Darren Burton tripled to the gap tonight. He really showed off his speed.
He still sucks.

Arkansas blast, #10 from Torey Lovullo proved to be the winning run! DOUBLE
DIGITS!!

Calvin Maduro, you should have stayed with SWB.

BRING BACK CLEMENTE ALVAREZ!!!!

C'mon, Pawtucket, throw us a bone here! Lose some games already!!!

The Red Wings turned in a Victor Rosario-esque performance with 5 errors,
4 in the 1st inning! Somewhere in some Latin American Country, Victor is
smiling.

Steve Schrenk continues to be the work horse of the SWB bullpen. As long
as he puts in great innings, the Fesh Fan Club will exhort his efforts.

Anyway, that's my two centes.... enjoy the FESHtival.
