Durham! Oooooh I'm SO scared! Get the caller ID!
 Evan
Thomas introduces the slider to stifle Bulls hitting.
Dave Doster raised his average above the .200 mark for the first time this
season by going 3-4 with a solo homerun to lead off the 4th inning. Chris
Pritchett got on the blast board with a 2-run homer in the 4th. Steve Schrenk,
making his first appearance for the SWB's this year, pitched 1 2/3 scoreless
innings to pick up his first and only save of 2000.
On a statistical note, despite the fact that we won yesterday, CNNSI's pitching
stats list our staff mark at 15-13. Also, don't underestimate the
"Holtz" factor. Apparently we have a pitcher on the staff named Holtz
who pitched once and lost and has a 6.00 ERA. This was Holzemer, so when looking
at Holzemer's stats, add in the "Holtz" factor.
Hmmm.. I was just thinking about something. Pat Burrell + Chris Pritchett +
Barry Johnson = SEAN FESH! Coincidence? I think not.
