D.T. CROMER DISPOSED BY THE FESH-MASTER!
 The
Barons got back-a that "FIRST PLACE PIZZA PIE!!!" Since Buffalo got
rained out, the Barons took advantage by handing the Riverbats a 9-3 loss. This
Barons' team is even better all-around than last year's. Just taking a look at
our infield would cause anyone to see that. Our infield is full of players who
could very well be playing in the major leagues. And by all rights, Perez,
Anderson, Pritchett, Forbes, and Doster should be. Perez and Jimmy Rollins give
us shortstops that can hit, a quality we lacked last year. Reggie Taylor is a
faster version of Wendell Magee Jr. in center field. Gary Bennett hits for a
higher average than Estalella. Gene Schall and Forbes are the veteran leaders,
similar to Torey Lovullo last year. With the loss of our starters like Rod
Bolton, Joel Bennett, and Joe Grahe, our new guys have stepped it up, namely
Evan Thomas, Mark Holzemer, and Cliff Politte. And, of course, with Fesh in the
bullpen, how can you lose?
ARKANSAS BLASTS... OHH YEAH!!!!
Jalal Leach blasted his 4th of the year right past the right field foul pole (or
is it fair pole? hmmm...) The offense has exploded lately at the friendly
confines of LCS, going deep off the Riverbats' pitching. Now if we can only keep
this up on the road, we'll be set.
ERA DROP ALERTS!!!!
Serve 'em up, let's go!
Holzemer 3.90 -----> 3.29
Barrios 9.15 -----> 9.15 (there ya go, an ERA maintain alert!)
Where have you gone Chris Pritchett? Pritchett: "I'm back!!!"

Oh, won't you please take me home?
