BAG OF HECKLES EQUALS VICTORY!
 Excellent
Fesh Fan Club presence tonight equals a huge 10-1 victory for the Barons! This
is the Barons baseball that I remember from last year, starting to come alive
once again. As far as the bag of heckles, it was brought into use many times
tonight. The Indians were just loaded with guys we loved to hate. Scott Krause,
Creighton Gubanich, Brad Tyler, Mickey Lopez, Everett Stull... the list is
endless. The Barons sent them back to Indiana by taking 3 of 4 in the series.
The offense, defense, and pitching are really starting to click now, as
evidenced by the 27-17 record, which is an all-time Barons best through 44
games! Lots of offense and pitching to talk about tonight, so for more
information... um... keep reading!
ARKANSAS BLASTS....OHHH YEAH!!
Tomas Perez continues to impress everyone with his bat!! He blasted his 5th
homer of the season to right-center to highlight a 5-run 8th inning! The scoring
began when Marlon Anderson took Allen Levrault deep to right for his 4th dinger
of the season. Come to think of it, I think just about everyone performed well
offensively tonight. Even Cliff Politte reached base when Busby wired the
sacrifice bunt throw over Kurt Bierek's head!!! NEWBIE!!!!!
ERA DROP ALERTS!!!!
One pitcher, one ERA drop. Politte went the distance:
Politte 3.76 -----> 3.26
Where have you gone Chris Pritchett? Pritchett: "I'm back!!!"

Take me down to Quebec City, where the grass is green and
the girls are pretty.
Oh, won't you please take me home?
