RIDICULOUSNESS CONTINUES IN SYRACUSE!

Barons win 8-5 in 13 innings, and wave goodbye to Pee & Crap Stadium for 3 months!!! (thank god!)

In yet another game that seemed to last forever, the Barons offense woke up just in the nick of time. They tied the game in the 9th inning and held the Skychiefs scoreless for 3 extra innings. Our boys scored 5 times in the 13th to secure a wild 8-5 victory. I could talk about the cavalcade of offensive and defensive highlights, but alas, you must scroll down. Oh, quit complaining and do it.

ARKANSAS BLAST!! THANK YOU!!

With the bases loaded in the top of the 13th inning, Red Barons legend Gene Schall strode to the plate. Robert Ellis made a mistake and hung one out over the plate for Schall, who promptly tattooed the pitch to right-center field for a GRAND SALAMI! Excellent hitting all around today too, let's just try not to strand so many runners next time!

ERA DROP ALERTS!!!

Once again, there will be no talk of Fesh's struggles. Thank you. On the bright side though, many of our fine pitchers did earn ERA drops. Here they are in no particular order: (chronological)
Grahe 4.09 -----> 3.38
Boyd (rehab warrior) 3.86 -----> 2.70
Ward 5.19 -----> 4.22
Johnson (WIN) 1.84 -----> 1.53
Barrios (SAVE) 2.84 -----> 2.77
EXCELLENT JOB PEN!! ESPECIALLY BARRY, CHECK OUT THAT PAPER-THIN ERA!
Hmmm.. I was just thinking about something. Pat Burrell + Chris Pritchett + Barry Johnson = SEAN FESH! Coincidence? I think not.
