SALE AT P&C SUPERMARKETS: TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!

Barons complete ridiculous power outage game, then rally in the second game to shoot the SkyChiefs out of the sky.

OK, so the Barons won that ridiculous 8-0 game that Niagara Mohawk felt they had to interrupt. Perhaps they will have to put some more magic numbers in between innings at the Pee & Crap in order to keep the power on!!!! Regardless, the Barons made a 6-run 6th inning hold up in the second game, coming back from a 4-0 deficit early on and hanging on to defeat Syracuse 6-5. Gary Glover ran into problems in the 6th, namely Kenny Woods who SMASHED a bases-clearing double over CF Vernon "Orson" Wells' head. More info as the news page unfolds... or as you scroll down.

ARKANSAS BLAST!!

In the Niagara Mohawk fiasco game, new Red Barons SS Tomas Perez made the Phillies organization regret that they... oh wait, never mind. In any case, he hit a homer that bounced on top of the outfield wall, not once, but TWICE!! It capped off one hell of a 4th inning in that game.

ERA DROP ALERTS!!!

In the first game, Brownson (1-2), Boyd, and Barry combined on a shutout! Here are their ERA drops:
Brownson 3.50 -----> 2.52
Boyd (rehab warrior) 4.15 -----> 3.86
Johnson 2.08 -----> 1.84

In the second game, Cliff Politte started and struggled early. Shane Bowers (2-0) earned the win out of the pen, but raised his ERA slightly. However, closer Manny Barrios earned his second save of the year with 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief. Here's the ERA drop:
Barrios 3.60 -----> 2.84
