BYE BYE MR. CANADIAN JOHNSON!
 I
am so glad we never have to face him again! Gary Bennett doesn't share my
opinion, but I'm sure the rest of the team does!! Bennett's single with the
bases loaded with 1 out in the 9th gave the Red Barons their first run since the
5th inning, but it was enough to give them their 3rd straight win scoring 3 runs
or fewer. Mark Small fell ill with a case of BRS (If you don't know what that
is, stop reading) (Pssst...it's BAD RELEIVER SYNDROME!!). He only got one guy
out but gave up 2 hits and 2 walks, he's just grateful it was the 9th and his
ERA didn't get hammered worse! The problem inherently lies in the fact that he
" Lance Droite " which is Ottawaese for "Throws Righty".
ARKANSAS BLAST SEARCH....
Catcher #17, GARE E BENNETT!!!! (Tribute to John Davies)
His shot in the 3rd was his 2nd of the year and coincidentally, his 2nd off Mike
Johnson.
ERA DROP ALERTS!!!!
ERA Drops for the Pen!!!
Mark Holzemer and Barry Johnson (1-0) pitched identically. Both pitched 2
innings, gave up 1 hit, 1 walk, and struck out 1 batter.
Holzemer 4.50 -----> 3.75
Johnson 2.46 -----> 2.08 (Tied with Fesh!)
When Kenny Woods Pinch-Hit, he said "Thanks, Gandhi!" I guess he
wants more at bats...
