In the spring of 2004, I began a tribute project that would eventually be
made into a DVD package. Using Adobe Premiere Pro, the soundtrack to 'The
Natural,' and as much 1999 Red Barons material as I could photgraph, scan, or
download, I tried to illustrate in four and a half minutes what the summer of
'99 was like to all of those who participated. Upon completion of the
movie, Dave Lefchak of Diginovations
compiled the movie, the video of the 1999 TV game (June 21st vs. Columbus), and
the 1992 Season of Champions video into a 2-disc package with professional
labeling and casing. This was presented to Sean when he came to Rochester
with the Richmond Braves during the Summer of '04.
After gaining even more experience this summer with the software through my small
film productions, I have been able to
render a higher quality internet copy and upload it to my Youtube
account so that all would have a chance to see the
tribute. You will no longer need to download any clunky .avi files.
Without further delay, I present the 1999
Red Barons Story.
