  • 1991: Drafted by the Houston Astros in the 61st round of the June draft
  • 1992: Split season between GCL Astros and Osceola in the Florida State League.......Combined for a 1-1 mark with a 1.72 ERA in 21 games
  • 1993: Pitched entire season at Asheville in the South Atlantic League.......Led the league in games (65), games finished (58), 5th in saves (20) and 3rd in relief points (68).......Selected to the All-Star Team
  • 1994: Split the season between Osceola and double-A Jackson.......Combined for a 3-6, 3.10 ERA with 11 saves
  • 1995: Began season at AAA Tucson (1-0, 1.35)......Traded to San Diego May 1 which completed trade in which Padres sent OF Phil Plantier, Pedro Martinez, RHP Doug Brocail, SS Craig Shipley and SS Ricky Gutierrez to Astros for 3B Ken Caminiti, OF Steve Finley, SS Andujar Cedeno, 1B Roberto Petagine and Brian Williams......Assigned to AAA Las Vegas (2-1, 3.32, 30 games)
  • 1996: Missed most of the season with injuries, appearing in just 7 games for double-A Memphis
  • 1997: Began season at Ranco Cuc. in the California League.....released by San Diego April 19 after just 4 appearances.....Signed by the New York Mets May 10 and assigned to AA Binghamton.......Appeared in 45 games, all in relief, going 3-1 with a solid 3.25 ERA and 4 saves
  • 1998: Signed by the Phillies as a free agent 5/11 after a tryout at the Lackawanna County Stadium......Started at extended spring before being assigned to Reading 5/20.....Outstanding in relief.......Went 3-1, 9 saves and a 1.36 ERA in 31 relief appearances......16 of last 21 appearances resulted in not allowing a hit (19.2 IP, 8 H, 2 ER).........promoted to Scranton/W-B 6/2......In last 6 appearances spanning 6.0 innings pitched, he allowed just 2 hits and 0 runs......Optioned back to Reading 6/29.
  • 1999: Spent entire season at AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre..... went 4-3 with a 3.19 ERA...... recorded only save 8/1 against Charlotte
  • 2000: Began season with AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.... went 0-3 with 3.27 ERA... traded to Colorado July 25 as player-to-be-named in Ed Vosberg trade and assigned to AAA Colorado Springs... pitched in 8 games for the Skysox with an 8.59 ERA.
  • 2001: Signed by Bridgeport for 2001 Atlantic League season.....Pitched in the 2001 Atlantic League All-Star Game.....Ranked 5th in the independent Atlantic League in appearances with 51 for Bridgeport... Went 1-1 with a 1.46 ERA during July (9G, 12.1 IP, 11H, 3R, 2 ER, 6 BB, 7K).
  • 2002: Signed by the Marlins May 4 after spending spring training with the Pirates... Assigned to Double-A Portland... Went 1-0 with a 2.12 ERA and four saves after August 5 (9G, 17 IP, 11H, 5R, 4 ER, 8 BB, 18K).
  • 2003: Went a combined 10-1 with a 2.58 ERA between Carolina and Albuquerque in the Florida organization.....Two-time Southern League pitcher of the week (April 3 - 9 & 18 - 24)..... Did not allow a run with Carolina through May 20 (14G, 23.2 IP, 11H, 0R, 6 BB, 11K)... Saw action in six games with Albuquerque May 3-15..... Was pro-baseball best 6-0 when promoted to Triple-A.....Went 0-1 with a 0.67 ERA and three saves with Carolina during June (8G, 13.1 IP, 15H, 3R, 3ER, 6 BB, 11K)... Carolina won Southern League Championship.
  • 2004: Went 1-5 (3.74) in 40 relief outings and one start for the R-Braves.....Also appeared in one game at AA Greenville, pitching 3.2 innings......Notched most games pitched at AAA level since mythical 1999 season..... SIGNED WITH PHILLIES ON 11/11/04
  • 2005: Split the season between AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and AA Reading.....Combined for a 4-0 record and a 3.38 ERA with 26 strikeouts in 42.2 innings pitched.
  • 2006: Returned for second tour of duty with Bridgeport.  Appeared in 51 games, most since 2003, going 3-3 with a 3.57 ERA and 42 strikeouts.
  • 2007: Elbow injury kept Sean out of action most of the season.  Appeared in only 16 games with a 1-1 record and 3.42 ERA.
